Looking back with gratitude.

The year had plenty of ups and downs but in hindsight, we feel more grateful than anything. At the ministry level we saw hundreds of kids reached with the gospel, families restored, salvation of the lost, one last Intro internship reach graduation, and much more. As a family we were protected emotionally and spiritually by the God of peace in some of the hardest relational situations we’ve ever experienced. We were also protected physically from things like multiple dog attacks and two driveby shootings targeted at neighbors. The Lord gave us another beautiful baby, a bigger van, a healthy church body that provides oversight for our ministry, and a new home, which we’ve been trying to purchase for months. (Thank you to everyone who prayed and supported us through that!)

Looking forward with anticipation.

Our call to see a generation walking in obedience to Jesus out of love for Him continues. Prayer, discipleship, and evangelism remain as the key components to our work. We have a renewed vision to see South KC covered in prayer through prayer walks and meetings by a growing network of believers who want what God desires on earth as it is in Heaven. This past year has also given us a firsthand experience of what it’s like to see new believers baptized, discipled, and equipped to make disciples themselves as a normal part of Christian life even as they continue to grow in the Christian walk. Our goal is to see a multiplication of this in 2025 and beyond.

Thank you.

Sometimes we wonder why God specifically called us to Missouri when we could minister in many parts of the world. Maybe you’ve even asked us. The truth is, as we ourselves live in obedience to Jesus out of love for Him, we don’t always know the “why” behind the assignment. However, the fruit of our own growth and the advancement of the Kingdom continues to encourage us that His leadership is perfect.

To say thank you for the part that you have played in all of this feels too cheap. We are very aware that this is a team effort under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for your gift of prayer, finances, and time to see what the apostle Paul calls the reconciliation of God and man through Jesus coming to pass (2 Corinthians 5). Be on the lookout for our Year End testimony videos to hear more specifics on how that is happening. And always know you are welcome to reach out at any time for information that can’t easily be fit into these letters.
